Hi and welcome to my blog One Love Cooking or OLC for short. I’m Deanna a proud Jamaican and foodie who emigrated to the U.S. and has been living in Pennsylvania ever since. My cooking journey started in my early teens and I’ll admit that I wasn’t a great cook at first. I vividly remember my first attempt at making rice -  I added too much water, it came out soggy, and then in an attempt to salvage it, I ended up burning it - so it was definitely a FAIL. But like Aaliyah said “If at first you don't succeed dust yourself off and try again” and so I did and keep doing.
